Each protein ball has approximately 7 grams of protein. Perfect for post-workout recovery or a satisfying mid-day boost, they’re as delicious as they are nutritious!
Ingredients
- 1 cup traditional oats
- 3/4 cup almond butter
- 5 tbsp unflavored collagen powder
- 2 tbsp chia seeds
- 2 tbsp hemp seeds
- 2 1/2 tbsp maple syrup
- 1/4 cup mini chocolate chips (optional)
- Water, as needed
Instructions
- With your hands, combine all ingredients except maple syrup and chocolate chips into a crumbly mixture.
- Add maple syrup and combine thoroughly.
- Add chocolate chips (if adding).
- With your hands, squeeze and roll the mixture into 2-inch balls. If the mixture is too crumbly, add water one teaspoon at a time until mixture holds together.
Notes
- Makes approximately 12 protein balls.
- Other nut or seed butters can be substituted.
- Plant-based protein powder can be substituted.
