Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup traditional oats
  • 3/4 cup almond butter
  • 5 tbsp unflavored collagen powder
  • 2 tbsp chia seeds
  • 2 tbsp hemp seeds
  • 2 1/2 tbsp maple syrup
  • 1/4 cup mini chocolate chips (optional)
  • Water, as needed

Instructions
 

  • With your hands, combine all ingredients except maple syrup and chocolate chips into a crumbly mixture.
  • Add maple syrup and combine thoroughly.
  • Add chocolate chips (if adding).
  • With your hands, squeeze and roll the mixture into 2-inch balls. If the mixture is too crumbly, add water one teaspoon at a time until mixture holds together.

Notes

  1. Makes approximately 12 protein balls.
  2. Other nut or seed butters can be substituted.
  3. Plant-based protein powder can be substituted.
