Hormone Balancing Smoothie

This hormone balancing smoothie is creamy and delicious with a nice touch of cinnamon. It contains healthy fat and protein and is low in sugar. Add in a cruciferous veggie such as kale to give it an even bigger boost!

Ingredients
  

  • 1 tbsp almond butter
  • 1 tbsp flaxseed ground
  • 1 tsp maca powder
  • 1/2 tsp cinnamon ground
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 cup almond or coconut milk unsweetened
  • 1-2 whole Medjool dates pitted
  • 1 scoop protein powder plant-based (optional)

Instructions
 

  • Add all ingredients to a high speed blender and blend until smooth.
  • Add ice if needed for desired consistency.

Notes

You can sub frozen banana chunks for the Medjool dates.
To make this even more nutrient dense, add in a handful of spinach or kale and/or 1/4 small avocado.
